Once
propellers are sent to Hope Aero, a receiving report
is filled out and shortly after the propeller is
disassembled. Parts are given a detailed inspection
and the blades are repaired as required.
Composite blades sanding with our state of the art
dust collection system, which provides an
exceptionally clean working environment.

Blade assessment is then continued with an internal
fibre-optic Borescope inspection. The Borescope
inspection allows the technician to access the
serviceability of the blade of the bore.

Repairing a delamination.
Vacuum bag repair. Resin has been put
on the blade and the vacuum bag holds
the resin
in place until it has cured the
blade.

The leading edge has been glued on, the
pressure bag ensures that the edge bonds
to the blade properly.
